Michelle Stettler is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She holds a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Utah college of Health Sciences.

Class Objectives
Bring awareness to PD community about changes in communication that can happen with PD
Teach helpful exercises for voice and speech
Educate community on available resources
Provide a chance for social engagement and functional practice of “speaking with intent”
Create space for members to talk about their communication changes and feel supported by one another
Format
Group practice of vocal exercises (sustained phonation, vocal glides, projection practice, etc.)
Education on why voice exercises work
Interactive conversational practice of “speaking with intent” and vocal projection
